Meet Bayo
Hi, I'm Bayo. I'm an investor, entrepreneur, and creator.
I graduated from Princeton University as a member of the Class of 2020, where I majored in Philosophy and earned my certificate in Entrepreneurship. I'm the first hire of Chaac Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on the Princeton University tech ecosystem.
During my freshman year at Princeton, I was the Financial Coordinator of Princeton Envision: a non-profit that brought together innovators, engineers, scientists, business leaders, intellectuals, and policymakers to discuss new technologies. Afterwards, I became a founding team member and Chief Financial Officer of Princeton Empower, a group under Princeton’s Entrepreneurship Club that promoted financial literacy among college students, especially those from low-income backgrounds. I also worked as an associate with Princeton University’s e-Lab Accelerator, where I supported Princeton startups and first-time founders.
During my final year at Princeton, I became the Vice President of Finance for the Africa Summit at Princeton initiative, where I helped develop the first New Venture competition for African startups on Princeton’s campus and received the Africa Summit Fellowship.
Today, I work in venture capital by-day and produce music by-night. I also donate my free time to the non-profit organization Icon Talent Partners, where I serve on the board as a Co-Director of the ICON Careers program which supports university and high school students.
I'm passionate about philosophy, music, culture, cinema, and self-actualization.
